House of Tortured Souls remembers Beverley Owen.

It was a very upsetting day for the horror community as we sadly said goodbye to Beverley Owen. For those of you not familiar with the name, Owens was best known and loved for her role as the first actress to play Marilyn Munster of the 1960’s hit t.v. show The Munster’s.

The Munster’s was a huge success and is still a beloved sitcom by monster and horror fans across the globe. Ownes had the look and poise as the perfect girl next store image that the show was looking for to offset the rest of the family on the show.

Beverley Owen left The Munster’s after doing 13 episodes show to marry and start a real life family of her and as well as finish her education in which she earned her masters degree in Early American History at the University of Michigan.

Sadly on Thursday ,February 21st, 2019, the lovely Beverley Owens passed away. Remaining actors of the show as well as fans everywhere are saddened by her passing and will not soon be forgot. You to us will always be Marilyn Munster.
