New information about Terrifier 2

New information has surfaced about Terrifier 2 from their facebook page here’s the latest info

Thank you all very much for your patience! We are thrilled to finally announce that Terrifier 2 is funded and slated to begin filming in the fall of this year! 🤡🤘 Our production company Dark Age Cinema is producing one again which means the inmates are still running the asylum. We are unchained and unrestricted, so rest assured, Terrifier 2 will be the merciless, no holds barred follow-up you’ve been hoping for. If you thought we pushed the envelope in part 1…you haven’t seen anything yet.

Now since the scope of Terrifier 2 is 10x bigger than the original, we can still really use your help! Thankfully, we’ve gotten numerous requests at conventions and on social media to launch a crowdfunding campaign for the sequel so that is our goal! In the coming weeks we will launch a small indiegogo campaign with the hopes of raising some much needed additional funds.

Perks will range from social media shout outs to screen worn Art the Clown accessories, to even being killed by the man himself in Terrifier 2! If we reach our goal, the proceeds will go towards the biggest and most mind blowing scene in the script which requires an unprecedented amount of special effects, extras and stunts. Now although I cannot spoil the details of the scene, try to imagine if Art the Clown was in charge of the prom mayhem in Carrie! With your help, we can truly turn this scene into an unforgettable piece of horror cinema. More information to follow as well as the first glimpse of the official Terrifier 2 poster!

Again, we want to thank you from the bottom of our black hearts for your constant support and patience. We mean it when we say, the success of Terrifier is based solely on the dedication of our fanbase. In return, we want you to be involved every step of the way and we promise to deliver a film that surpasses your expectations! Now if I may tease you with one more thing, here is a snippet from the official Terrifier 2 synopsis:

“After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. Pray you don’t get in his way.” 🤡🔪🎃

This is really cool they’re going to have a crowd funding which honestly pays for itself. Art the Clown can even kill you in the movie what more could you ask for?!

Terrifier To Get A Sequel

Terrifier To Get A Sequel

Damian Leone’s smash hit, Terrifier is reportedly getting a second act.  The 2017 spin off of Leone’s film All Hallows Eve went to Netflix last year and then ran wild.  Art The Clown became a new face in horror with his silent but very deadly tactics.  Terrifier spun into a merchandise line, thanks to Terror Threads.

Actor and convention regular for 2018, David Howard Thornton took over the role of Art The Clown for Terrifier.  Thornton’s appearances on the convention scene, his reputation for being a really nice guy and active with his fans on social media, helped the cause.  Terrifier gained popularity and has began winning awards in the horror community.  Art The Clown, has become a sensation and has been immortalized in the form of tattoos on loyal fans.

The news broke today on various social media outlets.  Art The Clown has his own Facebook fan page over 12,000 strong and “Art” posted what fans have been anxiously waiting for!

I for one am pumped about this.  Terrifier captured fans with original kills, a fresh story and a voiceless clown.  I gave the movie an A+ however, I am biased on old school slashers.  Terrifier 2 will draw the audience in and keep them focused, just like the first one did.  It may be a newer film franchise, but it has a very ’80s vibe.

As for Damian Leone and David Howard Thornton?  Look for them at Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, NC, February 22-24, but don’t ask too much about the script (ha ha )!  Fans are anxious, but it appears they wont be waiting long.  One thing is for certain and that is when it is released, count me in!
